If you value taste over size and price like I do, you are in the absolutely best eclair shop in the world, Elcair de Genie. The salted caramel was my favourite! Every single eclair is truly to die for!

The quintessential Parisian experience is to fully immerse yourself in their pastries. When I travel to Paris I like to indulge in a variety of my favourite little gems which aren’t available in other parts of the world. Before travelling to Paris, my friends and I did a lot of research about the best pastry and dessert shops in the heart of Paris and discovered that Pierre Herme was appearing too many times for us not to try it out. Although best known for their macarons, this place has other patisseries that are worth a try. Pierre Hermé really shines in his non-traditional varieties. I would highly recommend his pastries such as the Ispahan! Best croissant I have tried to date and worth the hype.
