la means salad in Dutch. The concept of this breakfast/lunch bar is to offer you many different choices of healthy salads, soups and fresh juices. You can create your own salad by choosing the vegetables, the sauce, the grain and topping… All that for a small price of 8/9 euro per salad! I have been tasting many salads in Amsterdam but this is by far the most fresh and original concept. The vegetables have a really good taste and it’s royal served. Besides that the food is really healthy and 99% organic, the locations are very trendy decorated. The salad bar has been designed like a kind of greenhouse, with plants and many cosy tables to sit with your friends. Sla has become so popular last year (2014) that there are now already 5 different locations in Amsterdam.
